Alarm Systems
Adelaide Digital Security is available for maintenance services. We can develop a regular maintenance plan with you or you can call us when there is an issue with your alarm.
As part of our maintenance programme, we will ensure all parts of your security system are working correctly through local testing.
If you are monitored, we will also ensure that all signals from your alarm are received by the monitoring centre.
Maintenance services can include one or more of the following:
- Clean and test all sensors and code pads
- Secure cable connectivity of all parts
- Test sensors, motion sensors, reeds, glass breaks, remotes, sirens and code pads as necessary
- Test smoke detectors and thermal detectors
- Check battery charging rate and replace batteries as necessary
CCTV
Adelaide Digital Security is able to maintain your closed circuit television system. These systems can also be known as NVR (Network Video Recorder) or DVR (Digital Video Recorder). Regular maintenance can be scheduled or you can call us should a problem arise. With a scheduled maintenance programme, your CCTV system will be checked to ensure all cameras are recording and storing footage. We will test that your remote connection for your NVR/DVR is functioning on your smart phone or PC and is communicating to the monitoring centre.
Maintenance services can include one or more of the following:
- Clean cameras and check focus
- Replace on board coin battery to ensure timestamps are up to date
- Test motion detection recording
- Test remote connection
- Secure cable connectivity if required
- Dismantle and clean NVR/DVR (Please note, manufacturer warranties will be voided if units are not regularly cleaned internally and contain excessive amounts of dust. Dust results in units overheating and may decrease life expectancy)
- General CCTV testing as needed
UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supplies)

With a scheduled maintenance programme, your CCTV system will be checked to ensure all cameras are recording and storing footage. We will test that your remote connection for your NVR/DVR is functioning on your smart phone or PC and is communicating to the monitoring centre.
Maintenance services can include one or more of the following:
- Dismantle and clean UPS (Please note, manufacturer warranties will be voided if units are not regularly cleaned internally and contain excessive amounts of dust. Dust results in units overheating and may decrease life expectancy)
- Replace battery/batteries
- Test UPS system maintains power if mains power is unavailable (eg power failure)
